I was present for the EMC Forum 2012 at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai on the 8th & 9th of November 2012 and by the amount of people present, I can say that the event was a grand success. Speakers like Rajesh Janey (President, EMC India & SAARC), Steve Leonard (Vice President, EMC), Par Botes (Corporate Vice President & Chief Technology Officer, Asia Pacific & Japan, EMC), etc. were present who spoke about how big data can transform business in a secure environment.
The motivational talk by David Lim (Mountaineer & Author) truly inspired the audience present in the event. David Lim shared his experiences about climbing the Mount Everest with videos and also made the audience laugh with his jokes.
The event ended with a bang as the singer KK made the audience groove to some of his hits! Here are some pictures from the event:
EMC India is one of the leading cloud computing & big data companies right?
I had heard about this event but couldn't attend it. Can you throw some more light on what happened there and what they spoke about?
The event was really educational, specially for the CIOs and IT professionals. Eminent speakers like G. Srinivasa Raghavan (Vice President and Country Head, India Business, TCS), T. Srinivasan (President, VMware India & SAARC) and Janesh Moorjani(President– Enterprise and Public Sector, Cisco India) spoke about how Cloud Computing on the whole, will help transform businesses.
In short, the event was a huge success and taught me a lot about Cloud Computing and Big Data.
ohh seems like a good one. Should have been there. Cloud Computing continues to be rapidly evolving. In 2013, customer expectations will force IT organizations to adopt a hybrid IT operating model that can host critical applications in the private cloud and can use public cloud services to increase business and IT agility. Saw some pictures of the EMC Forum in the internet too. Will definitely be there for the one which will be held in 2013.
