Krishna Institute of Engineering and Technology

History: krishna institute of engineering and Technology was started in 1997 under the aegis of the Krishna Charitable Trust. krishna institute of engineering and Technology was then affiliated to the Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Agra. Later it came under UPTU (Uttar Pradesh Technical University) after the latter was formed. UPTU was renamed GBTU (Gautam Buddh Technical University). Later GBTU was bifuricated into two different universities. One retaining the original name Gautam Buddh Technical University and other named Mahamaya Technical University. Institute is currently affliated to Mahamaya Technical University.

KIET Admissions: Students are admitted through counselling based on SEE-UPTU and AIEEE ranks . The SEE-UPTU exam is held in the 3rd week of April and the results are generally announced the next month. Over 85% seats the students are admitted through counselling and rest 15% through management quota.
