    Hello, I am Sandeep and i am giving you the information regarding admission in Heritage Insitute of Technology, Kolkata .

    An institute means where people are groomed with best possible ways, where their skills are developed in a specific field. To set up a good career, a good platform is essential and HIT is such an institute where students are given the best platform to exhibit their talents. Whereby we take an opportunity to introduce ourselves as one of the leading engineering colleges in eastern part of India. As we all know learning is a continuous process & if the process undergoes through an institute like Heritage it comes out as a complete package .

    Fee structure & hostel Fee :

    Tuition Fee Rs. 36,000 (for 1st semester)
    Admission Fee Rs. 4,000 (one time only)
    Library Fees (Including facilities for book bank) Rs. 4,000 (one time only)
    Students’ Welfare and Games & Sports Fee (@ Rs. 1000/- per annum) Rs. 4,000 (one time only)
    Caution Deposit Rs. 15,000 (refundable, one time only)
    Admission Kit Rs. 500 (one time only)
    University Students’ Development Fee Payble to WBUT (@ Rs. 550/- per annum) Rs. 2,200 ( one time only)
    Total Fees Payble at the time of admission Rs. 65,700


    Any other fees imposed by the WBUT or the State Govt. will be payable extra, as applicable.
    B.Tech students shall have to pay Rs.36,000 for 2nd semester.

    B.Tech students shall have to pay Rs.37,000 for 3rd & 4th semester.

    B.Tech students shall have to pay Rs.38,000 for 5th & 6th semester.



    B.Tech students shall have to pay Rs.39,000 for 7th & 8th semester.

    Hostel Fee(Optional) : Seat Rent 3,500 per month
    *Tution fees for candidates admitted under Management Quota would be decided by the management as per guidelines of the State Government.

    * Any other fees imposed by the WBUT or the State Govt. will be payable extra, as applicable.

    * Payment has to be made by Demand Draft/ Banker's Cheque/ Pay Order, drawn in favour of "Heritage Institute of Technology" , payable at Kolkata within specified date to be notified by the Institute.
    * First year students seeking admission for the session 2012-2013 are required to pay Rs. 25,700/- [Rs. 65,700.00 – Rs. 40,000.00 for general and SC/ST category OR Rs. 29,700.00 – Rs. 4,000 for TFW] at the time of admission.

    Central library: The library is housed in a large air-conditioned hall of 6000 sq. ft. having a seating capacity for about 250 readers.
    The Library has a generous collection of more than 43,000 textbooks and reference books on all relevant subjects. The Institute subscribes to a large number of journals, periodicals, proceedings, magazines, local and national dailies which are available for the benefit of the readers. Facilities at the library are constantly upgraded and expanded. Some of the current facilities include – Reprographics, Internet, educational CD’s, Book Bank facility etc. The Library is fully automated with LIBSYS and online public access(OPAC) facility.

    Hostel: Separate board and lodging facilities are available separately for outstation boys and girls. Seats are limited and allotted on first-come first-served basis.
