This article elucidates skills required to be a technical support engineer.
There two profiles:-
Voice profile (Front end)
Non-voice profile(Back end)
Front end requires excellent communication skill for an International BPO. English is must with correct spoken as well as written , with no grammar mistakes. Fluency is required.
Back end process deals with only core profiles excluding voice process.
There are two types of call-
Inbound:-( Incoming) customer will call you
Outbound(Outgoing) you have to make call
1. To check your pronunciation
2. To check your grammar and fluency, thought flow process, quick response capability
3. HR round, salary negotiations
Freshers have to undergone for a training to improve thier communication and pronunciation, and then they have to clear certain exams , then joining is confirmed.
Experienced candidates get job related to their experience.
Incentives and perks are attractive
Work Pressure is high
Stress can increase
Some branded MNCs like HCL, WIPRO offers their BPO employess to swtich to their corresponding core software branch of MNC.
